what a disapointment this hotel was. I simply could not believe the dirty pool area, like, are we really in a hotel? also, breakfast was absoutely underwhelming for the price charged. I almost gave this place a good review, but I woudl ve liked some sort of complimentary gesture, yet nothing was offered. pathetic!

The beautiful gardens surrounding Hotel Africana provided a serene atmosphere for leisurely strolls, while the spacious layout made it easy for me to navigate comfortably as a senior. The vibrant colors of the landscaping were truly uplifting.

We had a fantastic time enjoying the live music performances at night, which created a vibrant atmosphere. Staying here with my niece was unforgettable. staff like Grace provided exceptional service, arranging a delightful birthday cake on short notice for one of our group members.

My kids wished for better kids’ activities.

This place suits me perfectly, offering great amenities like the fitness center, outdoor pool, and free Wi-Fi. The staff helped me with travel tips on my first stay, which I appreciated. I recommend enjoying a refreshing drink by the pool. I'm definitely coming back for a city trip!

I was astounded by the delicious mix of international cuisine and traditional African breakfast. The staff's friendliness and cleanliness throughout my stay created an inviting atmosphere. The gym facilities were impressive, and the pool offered a perfect way to unwind. Truly, this place exceeded all expectations!

i had a pleasant stay at africana. the gym facilities were a highlight, with great cardio equipment and weights for a solid workout. the location is also perfect for a run, with a safe area nearby in kololo hill. the staff were friendly and made the atmosphere inviting.

The amenities were actually decent, like the gym was well-equipped with everything to get a solid workout in. I also appreciated the warm towels and delicious drinks when I arrived, a nice touch that felt personal.

The Deluxe Double Room had some issues. the toilet in one room smelled pretty bad, but luckily, they moved us to another. The lifts were slow, so we waited a bit. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, which was nice. Not the best experience but at least we got a good night's sleep after the room swap.

It's an appropriate option for a day tour in Kampala with the best value for money ratio. I enjoyed the lovely garden atmosphere and live music in the evenings, which made my stay enjoyable. Consider visiting during the week for a quieter experience.
